The Robbinsville Township Fire Department was known as the Washington Township Fire Department when it was formed in 1963. The township changed names in 2008. The Robbinsville Township Fire Department is a combination fire department made up of mostly career members who are on duty 24/7. They employ around 21 career firefighters and 1 volunteer.
