Structure Fire - Olean, NY - 12/11/2022

At 606pm on Sunday evening City of Olean Firefighters responded to a reported structure fire, with flames and smoke showing. Engine 41 arrived on scene within 3 mins of the dispatch, reporting heavy smoke and fire showing. The crew stretched a single 1 3/4" handling to the front door. Engine 40 crew secured a hydrant and provided a water feed to Engine 41. Crews preformed a rapid interior attack confining the fire to the apartment of origin. Call in crews checked the surrounding apartments for any extension and secured all of the utilities. The fire was deemed under control at 629pm. The City of Olean Fire Investigation Team is currently investigating this fire and at this time no cause has been released.
