Structure Fire - Olean, NY - 01/21/2020

Olean Firefighters were dispatched to a reported structure fire at the corner of Buffalo Street and West Sullivan Street. Upon arrival firefighters found heavy fire and smoke coming from the number 4 side. Firefighters were able to complete a primary search of the second floor where the apartments were located. Command pulled all firefighters from the building and defensive operations were started. Allegany Fire Department and Westons Mills Fire Department were called to stand by at Central Fire Station and Fire Station 1 respectively. Later in the incident Allegany Fire and Westons Mills were brought to the scene to perform aerial operations. In total 2 towers ladders, 1 blitz fire and 2 handlines were in operation.
Hinsdale and Town of Olean Fire Departments were brought in to back fill at Central Fire and Fire Station 1.
